Bienvenidos a Espana!

We were welcomed to Spain by some of Andrew's co-workers, who were very kind and helpful but insisted on packing our days full of administrative and social activities to "get us on a schedule." At the end of the first week, the three of us were exhausted and more than a little burnt out, so fortunately, we were given more freedom in our schedule at about that time.

The Sunday after we arrived in Madrid, Spain played in the World Cup championship game. As you can imagine, the Spaniards were going crazy. Of course, we watched the game at one of Andrew's co-worker's homes, not downtown...
